美国商品期货交易委员会(CFTC)周五(3月18日)公布的周度报告显示，截至3月15日当周，对冲基金和基金经理减持Comex黄金和产品净多头寸。上周黄金净多仓一度升至13个月高位。
汇丰（HSBC）在周四（3月17日）发布的报告中称，美联邦公开市场委员会在周三的言辞和预测应该确立黄金在今年的涨势，尽管美联储加息决定符合市场预期会限制黄金的涨幅。
周四（3月17日）澳洲联储（RBA）助理主席德贝尔（Guy Debelle）在演讲后回答观众提问时表示，大多数央行都想让本产品贬值以便推高通胀并为经济创造多一点的活力。
Oppenheimer的技术分析师Ari Wald认为，尽管今年以来黄金市场表现强劲，但从过去历史来看，进一步走高的可能比较小。Wald表示：“是时候获利了结了。”
周一（3月14日）美市盘中，现货黄金持续下滑并跌至3月2日以来低位1228 90美元 盎司，稍早高见1260 71美元 盎司。目前金价依然位于日低水平附近交投，日内跌幅达2%。
上周黄金市场小幅走低，但今年至今金价依然有近20%的涨幅，资深投资者加特曼认为，投资者应当继续买入黄金。
金价周四触及1236 95低点后大幅反弹，收复了前两日跌幅的大部分。技术上，金价自2月10日开始的上升趋势线(或日图20日均线)再次提供了强劲支持，近一个月来的震荡上行走势完好；短期阻力关注前高1279-1277
猴年股市震荡幅度和频率提升，海外市场以同步大起大落，黄金的避险功能凸显。开年后金价持续大涨，黄金ETF收益率亦水涨船高，获得市场热捧。
美国COMEX 4月黄金期货价格周二(3月8日)收盘下跌1 10美元，跌幅0 1%，报1262 90美元 盎司，金价由升转跌，从略低于上周触及的13个月高位的水准下跌，因获利了结，在下周美联储政策会议举行前，金价近期似乎缺乏上涨的动力。
如果要说2016年的市场热点，黄金的爆发无疑是出乎市场意料的。进入3月份，黄金的靓丽表现仍在持续，而受益于风险情绪的回升，大宗商品也在近期强势上涨。
