继去年两度降息以应对油价下挫造成的经济冲击之后，加拿大央行今年迄今一直维持利率不变，而且预计下月会继续按兵不动。产品是加拿大的重要出口商品。
波洛兹周二表示，新上台的自由党政府上月宣布的支出计划，足以抵消经济目前面临的负面冲击，经济展望是平衡的。
“什么才会使我们重新回到宽松倾向？需要再度发生负面冲击，但必须是明显的冲击，具有一定的严重性；或者是其他冲击不断积累，”波洛兹在一个记者会上表示。
