连日来，油价不断上涨，伦敦布伦特产品期货价格已由每桶28美元左右上涨到每桶40美元左右。眼下卢布汇率涨幅还远不及油价的涨幅。
有分析认为，卢布升值除了油价上涨外，还因为欧洲央行的超预期货产品宽松政策。欧洲央行当天决定下调欧元区主导利率，并扩大了其资产购买计划。
