美元兌主要貨幣周一跌至六周低點，美債收益率接近五周低點，此前美聯儲官員重申通脹飆升可能只是暫時的觀點。美聯儲理事沃勒上周五對CNBC表示，隨着疫苗接種的繼續和經濟活動的增加，美國經濟“準備好起飛”，但通脹上升可能是暫時的，這與包括美聯儲主席鮑威爾在內的其他美聯儲官員過去一周的言論相呼應。
在全球股市上漲至創紀錄高點之際，風險情緒有所改善，這也壓低了美元匯率。追蹤美元兌其他六種貨幣走勢的美元指數跌至91.04，較日高跌去超70點。
