周一(7月10日)据外媒报道，欧盟执委会主席容克周五(7月7日)在德国汉堡举行的20国集团(G20)峰会上称，如果美国对钢铁产品征收惩罚性关税，欧盟将作出回应。
容克接受外媒采访时表示，“若美国对进口欧洲钢铁产品征收高关税，则欧洲准备立即作出充分的回应。”
容克声称，欧盟-日本周四(7月6日)签署的贸易协议，表明欧洲没有在修建“保护主义高墙”。
