韩媒称，为出席亚洲安全峰会(香格里拉对话会)而正在新加坡访问的韩国国防部长官韩民求3日同美国国防部长马蒂斯举行会谈，韩民求向马蒂斯保证，首尔不寻求撤销关于部署“萨德”反导系统的现有协议。
据韩联社6月3日报道，韩民求表示，他在会上解释了韩国国内因“萨德”的部署被指缺乏透明度而引发的争议。他向美方强调，韩国政府采取的有关“萨德”的措施纯属对内举措，并非改变现有相关决定或向美释放其他信号。他说，韩方将基于牢固的韩美同盟解决相关问题。
