周三(5月5日)亞市早盤，美元指數持穩於91.30附近，現貨黃金繼續承壓，現報1777美元/盎司左右。受耶倫加息言論影響，周二紐約時段市場劇烈波動，金價一度自高點大幅回落近30美元，美股大幅下滑，道指一度重挫近350點，“恐慌指數”也飆升。不過，隨後耶倫試圖澄清自己的言論，這推動金價自低點反彈，而美股道指收複所有失地，收盤小幅走高。本交易日投資者將迎來素有“小非農”之稱的美國ADP就業數據，預計將再度引發市場行情。
在美國財長耶倫(Janet Yellen)暗示美聯儲可能需要加息以防止經濟過熱後，金價周二大跌。耶倫承認，為了防止數萬億美元政府刺激帶來經濟過熱，未來可能不得不加息。耶倫曾領導過美聯儲，這也使得她的言論仍然具有相當大的分量。
