国际现货黄金周四(3月25日)徘徊于平盘附近，短线冲破1740美元关口后再度回落至1730附近，美元指数继续走高这令黄金涨势受阻。由于美国和欧洲复苏前景出现了较大的差异，美元避险作用料将进一步显现。另一方面，在经济复苏和大规模财政刺激的作用下，美国通胀大幅抬头的风险同样存在，黄金可能会获得一定的支撑。因此目前多空力量错综复杂，黄金依然难以破局。
美联储主席鲍威尔表示，随着经济复苏和目标取得实质性进展，将减少债券购买，这被市场认为是一个鹰派信号，进而打压了市场的投资情绪。不过美联储副主席克拉里达称，美国经济和就业市场需要一段时间才能恢复到危机前的峰值。预计通胀率将在今年暂时超过2%。实际的失业率接近10%。美联储将支持经济复苏，直到“工作真正圆满完成”。
目前投资者担心的是，随着美国经济复苏迹象愈发明显，以及通胀风险正在攀升，美联储官员即便嘴上宽松，未来可能也会迫于通胀压力而开始收紧政策，这令风险资产承受压力。
