在接受每周金融市場調查的交易員及分析師中，預期原油看漲的占比是50%，看跌的占比也是50%。歐佩克+本周召開聯合部長級監督委員會(JMMC)。歐佩克+對能源需求發表了樂觀預估。強勁的通貨再膨脹信號、疲軟的美元以及美國能源需求的強勁複蘇，也為未來的需求描繪了一幅更加美好的圖景。WTI原油期貨價格本周一度突破65美元/桶，最高觸及65.47美元/桶。不過，最近印度、巴西及日本新增病例激增，這可能會打亂石油需求複蘇腳步，由此引發的憂慮對油價形成下行壓力。
原油價格在周五顯著下跌，這主要是由於市場對印度新冠疫情加劇感到擔憂以及美元指數大幅走強。美國WTI原油6月期貨周五收跌1.43美元，跌幅2.20%，至63.58美元/桶。本周油價漲幅縮小至2.32%。
